Our training in socio-technical systems analysis gives us the ability to surface unique insights into your company’s hardest problems.
As engineers, we work to design technologies, practices, and work systems solutions that support human performance under conditions characterized by time pressure, uncertainty, and complexity.
This means we do a lot of different things. Here are some of our recent projects.

Research
Problem: Silo's between engineering teams in different business units were slowing down development, causing incidents to run longer, and creating conflict at a fast growing enterprise SaaS company.
Solution: Used Critical Decision Method & Cognitive Task Analysis to clearly identify coordination barriers among engineering teams. This allowed the teams to see the issues clearly and work together to address systemic and acute contributing factors.
Devised a method for assessing incident response for a critical digital services provider using observational and process tracing techniques.
